The Way of the Bodhisattva: Chapter 6: Forebearance This text is the best-known guide to living as a Bodhisattva and very dear to the heart of Khenpo Damcho Dawa Rinpoche, who often refers to it when teaching the Rinpoches and masters who are his students in Tibet. Khenpo-la gives special emphasis to helping us understand the chapter on forebearance, which shows the many methods for turning upsets into blessings and for gaining strength and wisdom from adversity.

14 Tracks on 2 MP3 discs. Running time 20 hours

Khenpo Damcho Dawa Rinpoche was born to a herdsman family in Juela village, Nangchen County in Eastern Tibet. Ordained as a Buddhist monk in 1980, aged 13, he received a traditional Tibetan Buddhist education, studied extensively and received practice instruction from some of the greatest masters in this field.

Khenpo-la spent five years studying at a Shedra and attaned the title of Khenpo, equivalent to a Professor of Buddhist Studies. In 1995, with the strong support of the chairman of ROKPA International, Akong Tulku Rinpoche, and at the request of Dzongtshod Rinpoche, he established a new Shedra in the town of Yushu, close to where he grew up.
